My dog will pee but not poop outside. Every time I catch him about to poop I take him outside but he still wont go.

If you are not kennel training him, I recommend to start doing so now. One trick that can facilitate pets having a bowel movement outside is to take them from their kennel immediately outside. Give him 15 minutes. If nothing happens, then he goes back in the kennel for 45 minutes. Then you take him outside for another 15 minutes. If he does not go to the bathroom again, he goes back in the kennel. And you keep repeating this. Once he potties outside, he can be free in the house. Most pets will pick up on this quickly and will start using the bathroom outside. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
