I would first have your vet take a look at her to ensure everything is normal. If she is medically okay, I would talk to your vet about starting her on an anti-anxiety medicine. This may help to calm her nerves and keep her from being so aggressive. I hope this helps!

Poor Lucy. She could be hormonal from the puppies, but also the stress of having puppies and being protective over them as a new mom. I would have a vet take a look at her to ensure there isn't something else going on that could be causing her aggression. I would talk to your vet about putting her on an anti-anxiety medicine and whether it would be safe for her if she is still nursing. Another thing I would consider out of the safety of your guests is to separate Lucy and the puppies into an area where your guests won't go. Unfortunately, there isn't an easy fix nor a quick fix. I hope this helps and she starts to feel better.
