My 10 year old dog is just laying on the bed, has not eaten anything or drank any water for about 24 hours. What do you think might be wrong? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) | Male | neutered | 10 years and 1 month old | 14 lbs

Loss of appetite can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I am concerned that he is likely becoming dehydrated. I recommend that you have Slugger evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment.
