My cat is vomiting hair and pooping liquid. Should I see a vet?

My cat has vomited a few times. The vomit has food and hair in it. He had also been pooping around the house and the stool is standard but with some liquid surrounding. What should I do?

It's possible your cat may have a hairball that is stuck, or something else causing GI distress (illness, parasites, GI upset, etc). If the vomiting and diarrhea continue, worsen, he seems in severe distress, attempts to vomit or defecate and can't, or doesn't improve, seeking veterinary care ASAP is best.
