Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 15 lbs
I live in a house with 5 cats, all fixed and well cared for. One of them developed extreme marking tendencies. He's even marked people. HELP!

If you have not already taken Felix to the veterinarian, I would recommend this to make sure there’s not an underlying medical condition such as a urinary tract infection, crystals, etc. As a general rule, you will want to have six litter boxes and have them ideally spread out in case there is a bullying happening in the house. In general cats like large, uncovered litter boxes with a clay based clumping litter that is cleaned daily. They want to be in a quiet, out of the way location where they can’t be trapped by a another cat. Dealing with spraying is tough. I think certainly you can reach out to a cat behaviorist who may come to the house and observe the household. You can also talk with your vet about medications that can help control this behavior. Lastly, decreasing stress can help some of these cats. I recommend a pheromone diffuser called Feliway, provide climbing and hiding opportunities and you may even consider switching the diet. Roya Canin makes a diet called Calm that affects the serotonin levels and this can help some of these kitties. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
