My dog is licking her rear and has clear liquid leaking. What's wrong?

I have a 9 year old Lab/Shepherd mix, Coco. She had been licking her bottom for almost a week now and notice a clear liquid leaking from anal now. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 8 years and 7 months old | 120 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is likely anal sac fluid. This may be just normal anal sac fluid secretion in which case it is not a concern. She may be licking because of an anal sac abscess or impaction. If this continues have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment.
