What's this raised, bothering lump on my dog's side near her tail?

My dog Rottweiler coon Hound mix seems to have a raised area on her side closer to her tail it does bother her my I can see that it raised and wondering what could it be. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | 2 years and 9 months old | 90 lbs

Unfortunately, the only way to understand the exact nature and origin of the bump/raised area would be through to your veterinarian clinical examination and laboratory tests. Clinical appearance can help differentiate among infectious and neoplastic disease but only by collecting a specimen of the lesion will give you a specific and definitive answer.
