Is it save to feed my dog bland diet for a while to ease up his irritable bowl syndrome. I feed him boiled beef or veal sometimes boiled chicken hearts no fat with steamed rice. In addition i he gets fortiflora and a bit of grounded egg shell. I cant add any coocked veggies yet, since once i tried some boiled carrots and zucchini he end up with diarrhea again. He is doing much better just on meat and rice. Also my veterinarian prescribed dietary supplement “power mune plus”. Please let me know.

You can Continue a bland diet to help regulate his Gi track but they are omnivores and dinrrwuire veggies also. You can change the rice for sweet potatoes for a variety. I would try to add green beans as this is bland but stay away from anything that starts with the letter P as this can make diarrhea worse
