My senior dog's vestibular symptoms come and go. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | 11 years and 9 months old | 12 lbs

My dog recently (4 weeks ago) had geriatric vestibular. He is show some signs of it again but it comes & goes. Is this normal? Could it be something else?

Yes they can get it again although not usually. Yes it could be something else. With vestibular disease they have symptoms for several days then they stabilize or improve without treatment. If it’s something else I would expect the symptoms to worsen with time, and additional problems to develop. Have your veterinarian monitor Puddles with blood work and periodic exams.
