Hello, My hamster eye seemed to be swelling.It went down by abit within a day or 2.I was playing with it in the morning and it was ok.At night,i suddenly saw the eye bigger than usual, and matte black in colour (Day 1).I put in a little eye drop.Day 2, it was red and swollen.3rd day, it went down but still matte.Ive a suspec the scratched himself.Pls help me :(.I will attach his current eye his as first pic and the previous ones as 2nd pic.without vet,can he cure naturally as per wat i read?

Hi, sadly I don’ t think there is anything that can be done to save the eye. I think there might be something putting pressure at the back of the eye, something like a retrobulbar abscess. It is difficult to tell obviously without examining him but it does not look like and eye that will improve with eye drops.:-( have you got a vet that could take a look at him ? Is he still eating ? If not, it might be that he is in too much pain.
