My dog won't eat, vomits yellow, and has chills. What should I do?

Hi, my dog hasn’t been wanting to eat for the past 2 days he only wants to drink water and he has thrown up yellow. He also had chills, he has all his shots too. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | neutered | 5 years old | 21 lbs

Poor Chato doesn’t feel well! If your little guy is not eating and is vomiting, then he must go to the vet. At the very least he needs meds to settle his stomach down, but he may need X-ray or blood work to see what is happening. He could have a foreign body in his intestines, be sick from eating something over New Years, just have an upset stomach or a number of other things. You will need a vet to help figure things out and get him feeling better. You could try some plain boiled chicken breast mixed with plain white cooked rice and feed him a small amount of that to see if he will eat it. If he can’t keep this bland diet down, he has to to go to the vet ASAP.
