My bunny has white nasal discharge. Could it be Pasteurella?

Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I just recently received a pet bunny from a family friend. He is healthy, runs, snorts, licks, and has seemed to adjust well to his environment. He is eating and moving and pooping regularly. Tonight when I put him to bed, I noted his left nostril has white discharge coming out. I wiped it away with a qtip and he was not wheezing or having difficulty breathing. I am concerned about the possibility Of pasturella. Thank you!

If the signs persist or you notice any sneezing or having some difficulties breathing I would recommend an immediate check up as respiratory tract infection can be definitively a possibility. If that is the case antibiotics may be needed.
