2 weeks ago my dog had a UTI. She was taken to the vet, given meds, and told to come back for a follow up urinalysis. I was charged $250 then. My dog was healthy again well before her meds were used up. Still, I was pressured into a follow up urinalysis. I thought this was included in the treatment, but they insisted that it was a separate charge. What is a fair price for a dog urinalysis/cycstocentesis?
