Pet's info: Dog | Shiba Inu | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 3 months old | 28 lbs
Hachi have been having diarrhea for a few days but otherwise he is completely normal. He's eating and active. I also changed his dog food to Royal Canin a few days ago. Could this be related? Should I be worried?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as colitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, among many other possibilities. This could also be due to the change in food. You may try starting him on a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice for a few days. If this continues, I recommend that you have Hachi evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They may choose to check for parasites and to start medications for diarrhea depending on the results. Good luck! Hoping for a speedy recovery!
