Lola had 3 kittens on November 27th . I have her almost 5 month male kitten from her first litter . I have tried my best to keep him away from them but it's kinda hard . Today I found him in the box with Lola and the new baby kittens I caught him trying to take one of the kittens off of lola while nursing what does this mean he constantly still tries to feed off of her and he is way past old enough and weaned . Is he going to try and hurt the kittens ???

Thank you for submitting your question regarding your cats. I would keep the older kitten separated from the newborns. He could inadvertently harm them. If he continues to nurse from Lola, he could inhibit the kittens from receiving enough milk. I hope this information helps!
