My dogs were exposed to rats. Should they get a leptospirosis vaccine?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 77.162 lbs

I had a rat infestation in my attic and they came down to the kitchen and hallway, I have 4 inside dogs should I get them that vaccine for wen they come in contact with rodents in case they came in contact with urine or droppings

Yes, lepto vaccines are recommended every 12months and if they have not received them within the last 10-12months I would recommend scheduling booster vaccines urgently due to the high risk of transmission. Be aware it is also possible for humans to contract the same disease (Weils disease in people)
