My puppy has green-yellow eye discharge. Should I be worried?

Hi, I have a german shepherd pup of 36 days. I took him to the vet hi checked the temp he said everything is fine but now their is a greenish yellow mucus from one of the eyes.. Is this normal i have never had a dog, this is my first. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 26 days old | 4.4 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This mild amount of discharge if it is just periodically and not constant then it is probably normal. However, if this becomes consistent and more severe, have him reevaluated by your veterinarian as this may be due to a corneal injury for example. Best of luck!
