Why is my 4-month-old kitten's eye watery and sensitive to light?

Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Male | neutered | 4 lbs

My 4 month old kitten has a watery eye his other eye is fine. He doesn't seem to like being in the dark.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be due to an eye injury or conditions such as a corneal laceration, corneal ulcer, conjunctivitis, dry eye (also known as KCS), among many other conditions. I highly recommend that you have Oscar evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Further therapy would be based on the findings. Good luck and best wishes!
