My dog ate a few M&M's. Is a small amount of chocolate dangerous?

Our 20 lb dog just ate one, maybe two M&M’s chocolate candies that she found in a trash can. Each is about the size of a dime or smaller. Is this dangerous? Pet's info: Dog | Basenji | Female | spayed | 10 months and 2 days old | 20 lbs
