My dog ate hummus with garlic. Will a small amount harm him?

My 25 pound Jack Russell mix just ate about a teaspoon of hummus containing garlic. Will he be okay? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 7 months and 26 days old | 25 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is a very small amount of garlic probably that is contained in the hummus so this is unlikely to cause any issues. Watch for any signs of possible toxicity like gastrointestinal issues, lethargy and/or exercise tolerance.
