I've Started Feeding Him More, He Don't Have Worms Either. How do you stop your pup from eating his own poop? Is it normal?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! While it is not normal, it is not uncommon especially in your dogs. This is often times not an indication to feed them more. Usually they grow out of this behavior. I usually just recommend discouraging this behavior as much as possible and letting them know that it is not ok. Eventually, it will most likely stop on its own. Good luck and have a great day!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! As it is in most cases this is a behavioral issue in my experience rather than a medical issue. This type of behavior typically will go away on its own though it may take several weeks to months. Really the best way to get them to stop is by saying no and being firm and consistent about it. Whenever he walks past feces without eating it, make sure to reward him with a treat and praise. This will eventually stop. Good luck!
