Why is my dog peeing so often? Is it a health problem or just boredom?

My 6 year old dog seems like she has to pee alot. Can't tell if she just wants to go outside or really does have to go potty?

I recommend going outside with her to see if she is urinating when she goes out. If she is urinating every time she goes out, or if she is having accidents in the house if you don't let her out, she may have a medical problem like a urinary tract infection, diabetes or Cushings. If she does not actually pee when she goes outside, then it is likely a behavior issue and she may simply be bored.
