Why is my dog licking his butt area often, even with normal poop?

My 7 year old mixed lab keeps licking/biting near his butt area.. his poop is normal.. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered

I recommend that you have Thunder evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check what seems more likely so that it can be treated. Good luck!
