Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 6 years and 1 month old | 13.4 lbs
So my cat started throwing up two days ago after I fed her frozen rabbit raw meat without thawing it out. She kept throwing up any food I gave her from wet food to raw rabbit meat even if I had thawed it out yesterday. I decided to try just giving her half her canned wet food this morning at 6 am with her Amoxcilin antibiotics and a spoon of water. I got back home expecting vomit and no vomit. But she barely ate much of her wet food and refuses to eat now. What does this mean?

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear that she is sick and not eating. The first thing I recommend is not feeding raw food. This can be a risk to you for many different bacterias and parasites as well as to her. The next thing is that a decrease in appetite and vomiting can be caused by many things. These can range from diet, something she got into, metabolic diseases, endocrine diseases, and many others. I would recommend getting her in for an examination as well as some overall blood work and x-rays. This will help your veterinarian narrow down the potential causes and her case for vomiting and not eating well. They can also provide her with supportive care for those results are pending. I would recommend calling your veterinarian in the morning and scheduling the first available appointment good luck
