My labradoodle puppy has itchy, pimple-like bumps. What are they?

Hi, I have a three month old female labradoodle. These “bumps” popped up in the last couple of days. She is itching a little bit but nothing major. They almost look like pimples. I have bathed her with medicated shampoo but it didn’t do much. There are a couple small “bumps” on her groin area, close to her lady business, as well. How can I treat/what are they? The only thing I have done is half a Benadryl.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is possibly a focal infection though it is not possible to know for sure without being able to evaluate her. You can try to use a medicated shampoo containing chlorhexidine twice weekly for 2 weeks. If there is no improvement or in the meantime this appears to be getting worse, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!
