Is my puppy's vaccine and deworming schedule normal or excessive?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 23 days old | 12 lbs

I have 15 week old king chareles. He was shot-p vaccinated at 7,10 and 14 week and deworming at 7&14 weeks. At 9 weeks we check his poop it was paradise negative. On 14 week vet did deworming anyway. Was this necessary ? The same vet recommended One more forth dhp-p vaccine at 17-18 week. Is this is not too much?

Dogs should be dewormed regularly, even if they don't have worms. It's to prevent them from getting them, so it's fine the vet gave Lulu a deworming treatment. Yes, he does need another vaccine at 17-18 weeks. Dogs need three series of vaccines in order to be fully protected. I hope this helps!
