My cat has a new lump inside her mouth. What could this growth be?

My cat Lola is 7 yrs old. I just noticed a lump/ growth inaide her mouth. What could it be. Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | 8 years and 9 months old | 13 lbs

I am afraid this looks like a tumor or a big abscess. You will need to take Lola to your vet for an exam. Your vet will want to take a fine needle aspirate ( take some tissue to determine the nature of the mass) and possibly also want to send it in to a pathology lab to determine whether this is a benign or malignant mass which will need to be removed. Please schedule an appointment with your veterinarian soon.
