My cat won't eat, drink, or poop and is lethargic. Is she constipated?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 9 months old | 4 lbs

My cat Pinga, who is 5 years old, hasn't been eating, drinking or pooping for the past few days. She's remained in the same spot for days, and will not move. In the past her stools have been rediculously big, the size of a border collies poop. Please help, we are located in rural Brazil, where vetenary services are limited and poor quality.

Hi. Unfortunately she sounds very ill. It may be that she is severely constipated which is making her feel very ill. With her history, that is most likely. On this site without an exam, we can't diagnose or prescribe. And there isnt anything at home that could help her. She needs professional help. I would take her to the nearest facility or travel to one you trust.
