My dog barks when I leave after moving. How to stop separation anxiety?

Hi , I moved into a new house 7 weeks ago now and my dog is barking a soon as I leave the house , his separation anxiety is quite bad, I've pit his cage up and he is in the quietest room in the house along with a radio on, as well as adapil plug in ,, he gets regular walks but am not getting any where with him, he's a 4 yr old Jack Russell but is quite well trained. Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | neutered | 4 years old | 17 lbs

Poor guy. It sounds like he may need some help from medicines to get over this hurdle. It sounds like you've started with some good baseline steps and that's not enough, so I would recommend talking with your vet, or even a veterinary behaviorist (not a layperson behaviorist/trainer) about next steps and medications for him.
