Jockey has a swelling under his eye and I do not know why. It is sore to touch and I would like to know if bathing it or putting a cold compress on it will bring it down. His eye seems normal except for the swelling directly underneath. Thank you.

The most common cause for a swelling in that location (under the eye) is a tooth root abscess. I suggest you get Jockey to your vet for an exam. This is not something that will resolve on it's own.
