Why is my 8-month-old cat meowing loudly, staring, and biting?

8 month old male cat sits on my lap and stare me straight in the face while meowing at the top of his lungs and then biting my hand in between the meows. What does this mean? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 17 days old

That is a very unusual behavior. If it has come on suddenly, I would bring Nibbles to a vet to rule out any health issues that may be causing pain or distress, and thus the behavior. It may also be that he is attempting to elicit play or attention from you. Making sure his needs are met and playing with a toy or other object to get out some energy may help. Since he is also not neutered, it could be there is a female in heat nearby that is getting him excited/agitated.
