Why is my dog drooling, not eating, and chewing air constantly?

Why does my dog keeps on spitting saliva and doesn't eat well? Why does he keeps on chewing even though he is not chewing something?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Those are signs of nausea. Loss of appetite and nausea can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Digs evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam.
