My cat's head is swollen, eyes glossy, and breathing is labored. Why?

My cat came in and his head was swollen and his eyes looked funny and glossy and he can't breath and sometimes makes a weird sound breathing he drank some milk for the first time in 2days

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Tom! Based on your pictures it looks as though Tom has an upper respiratory tract infection. This is usually causes by a viral infection which then makes the cat susceptible to secondary bacterial infections. Tom most likely needs antibiotics. Also we do not like cats going more than 2-3 days with out eating cat food. They usually do not eat because they can have fevers or can not smell well from their nose due to it being clogged and inflamed. Ideally Tom should see a Vet today but you can try one more day of wiping his nose and doing 10 mins a few times a day of using a steamy bathroom to see if it loosens up his congestion. If he is not better and not eating still by tomorrow he needs to be seen. Good luck!
