Hello, sorry to hear about Naula. The lifespan of the virus may be up to 7 days. However, one they begin to eat and continue to eat without any further vomiting, then it typically means that their immune system has controlled the infection and they are going to continue to improve. However, some dogs may have a relapse, go off food again, start to vomit again and even have bloody diarrhea. If Naula has any of these recurrent signs, then she should be brought back to your veterinarian. Otherwise, if she continues to eat and seems to be improving in spirits overall, she may just need additional time to regain her strength and also the virus to live its course. Hope this helps and best of luck.
