My dog's eye corner is swollen. Should I go to an emergency vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 8 years and 6 months old | 80 lbs

My dogs eye is somewhat swollen. She went thru this before and it went down but it never got like this. Im going to vet on monday but today is saturday and im nervous. Can anyone provide some help please ? Its the corner.

It looks like Dynasty’s third eyelid is up. This can happen if the eye is irritated from a scratch or from neurologic diseases like Horner’s syndrome. If her eye seems red or irritated, or if you notice discharge you should see an emergency vet since this could be a sign of a scratch on her eye.

    It is hard to say for certain from a photo but it almost looks like she has torn her 3rd eyelid, which is causing inflammation. It would be best to have your vet check it out, be sure there isn't anything stuck behind the 3rd eyelid and she didn't scratch her cornea as well. She may need ant-inflammatory/pain medication for a short time, and possibly antibiotics.
