Pet's info: Cat | Russian Blue | Male | neutered | 5 months and 21 days old | 6.2 lbs
I woke up this morning, discovered that my cat has vomited. Some watery vomit and big portion of undigested cat food. What would be the problem? His diet has not changed. Same kind of food he has been eating, he is already down to the bottom of the food, this is the first time he vomited. He looks to be fine. Doesn’t look sick or anything. We took him to the vet and the doctor gave him revolution(selamectin). First dose on 8/23, we have second dose to give him Today. Should we still give him?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Chubby! I would hold on the 2nd dose of Revolution for a few days to be sure this vomiting was just a one time thing. There are many reasons that cats vomit and it could be a one time thing like a hair ball. Other causes are intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, pancreatitis, he ate something he shouldn't have like a plant or the other pets food or he ate something foreign that is stuck. I would watch him and if he continues to vomit or won't eat or is lethargic then he should be seen by your Vet. Good luck!
