Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 8 lbs
I have this cat that came to me about 8 years ago. It was an adult female. Anyway I took her in and started feeding her. I've tried everything from wet to dry food. I can still see and feel her spine. She has been fixed. Can you give me any suggestions as to what I can do to make her gain weight? I don't know what to do.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Kikimama. I would start by having her evaluated by her veterinarian to ensure that she does not have an endocrine or metabolic disorder that is making it difficult to gain weight. If she is healthy, then you can consider feeding her kitten food as it is higher in calories as well as higher in fat and protein. I hope this information helps!
