My new puppy is constipated, straining, not drinking. What to feed?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | 1 month and 23 days old

we just got a puppy a week ago she been eating cesar puppy food chicken with beef thats the food shes been eating from her past owners but twho days ago she cant poop at first it was ok but now friday she was pushing and she actually poop soft poop but saturday night she coudnt poop what should i give her she dont drink too much water

You can try to change to her to boiled chicken and rice and add canned pumpkin or canned greens to add more fiber to her diet and help her go a little easier. If the straining or soft stool continues, then I would have her checked for an infection or parasites. Once this problem is fixed you can transition her back to puppy food. When they are on canned or wet food, they get so much water there they often do not drink much
