It's a gross habit, but many dogs do this and are fine. There could be a couple of reasons why Parce ate his poop. One is a nutritional deficiency in his diet. Make sure you are feeding him a high quality puppy formulated food. Another cause is intestinal worms, which are common in puppies. I would make sure he is up to date on his deworming treatments, giving him one if he is not. Finally, it could be he simply likes the taste.
