My dog has diarrhea, lethargy, won't eat. What to do until vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 65 lbs

My dog is a chow mix she's never been sick shes 12 years old. A day and a half ago she started having watery diarreaha. Bad no visable worms only diarrhea leathargy and dry nose. Not sure about fever. She's not eating her food and is nit picky with her water.a vet can't see her till tomorrow. Is there anything i can do for her.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Ginger. I am glad she has an appointment tomorrow as she will likely require some fecal testing and a medication. Do not offer any food tonight. It doesn't sound like she is interested in eating, but more food will further upset her gastrointestinal tract. Do try to encourage her to drink water though to prevent any dehydration. Take her outside frequently to prevent any accidents. Monitor the stool for any blood or mucus as her veterinarian will need this information tomorrow. I hope this information helps!
