My dog keeps biting his groin area and has skin spots. What's wrong?

My dog has been biting at his groin area over the last week. He has these spots on him and I am not sure what they are. My vet does not open until tomorrow but I want an idea of what this could be. Pet's info: Dog | Chow Chow | Male | neutered | 10 months and 18 days old | 60 lbs

It looks like he has a skin infection so he needs to be examined and treated by a veterinarian. Your vet can prescribe an antibiotic to help treat. You could try an OTC spray, like Vetericyn spray and see if that helps until he can be seen by a vet.
