Why is my dog's bald spot growing? Is it ringworm or other skin issue?

My dog has a blank spot. We think it has always been there, but it seems to have gotten bigger. We wonder if it may be ringworm? Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 19 lbs

This could be a skin parasite such as Demodex or a skin infection.
