Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 8 years and 1 month old | 80 lbs
Mama was a family members dog that i recently took in about 2 wks ago. She seems very over weight. I feed her twice a day. Kibble and rice and i might add half a container of wet food and no treats. The portion i give her arent very big. About 1 c kibble, half cup rice and half jar wet food. Any tips besides walking to get her down to a healthy weight? Vet appt isnt ffor 2 weeks and i wanted to get started now. Thank you!

You need to buy a reduced calorie dog diet (dry, wet or both) and you will need to feed her according to the recommended amounts on the food label, this is the only way you will have any success with obesity in your dog.
