Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 6 years and 8 months old | 47 lbs
My dog is randomly throwing up small amounts of watery mucus which is clear, white or brown. She is drinking a lot more water in general. The vomiting has varies anywhere from 2-5 times a day. Her energy and desire to eat has not changed. The vomiting is not due to drinking too fast or sudden movements (as I mentioned it's at random). I am curious as to what it could be and am not getting any help from local veterinarians.

Hi there. The vomiting could be caused by several things. She could have parasites, have eaten something that is partially stuck in her GI tract, she could have kidney disease, she could have a vrirus or she could have developed allergies to her diet. With continued vomiting, I would recommend having Sheeva examined, have an xray taken and some blood work performed. Vomiting like that isn't normal and it would be best for her to be seen by a vet. I hope that helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
