My dog is too skinny for his age. How can I help him gain weight?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 year and 8 months old | 88 lbs

My dog weight according to age not perfect...he is a little bit of skinny... What should do?

It is better to have a dog on the skinny side rather than too fat. That said, GSDs often have intestinal problems and are hard to put weight on when young. I suggest you feed a top quality complete dog food for adult medium to large sized dogs and adjust the amount to his body condition, ie feed a bit more until he has reached normal weight. If he does not gain weight at all or loses weight he needs to be seen by your veterinarian for an exam and possibly blood work.
