Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Belgian Malinois | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 5 days old | 45 lbs

Max started vomiting earlier tonight, he has now vomited 4 times the first 2 times it was pretty solid the last 2 times has been more liquidy, should I be concerned and get him to the vet immediately?

Hi there and thanks for your post! Vomiting can have many causes in puppies- parasitic or viral infections, obstructions, or dietary indiscretion or eating something out of the ordinary among other causes. I would recommend restrict feeding Max for the next 8 hours or so (he can have water). If he continues to vomit or vomits again after his fast, then I would have him seen by a veterinarian. I hope this helps and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
