My puppy is throwing up and very sleepy. Should I be worried?

My puppy threw up a few times this morning and has been sleeping almost all day. The first time it looked like food and after that, just water. I was able to get her to eat and drink a little. Should I be worried? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 6 months and 19 days old | 23 lbs

Hi and thanks for posting! Vomiting can have many causes- some causes more concerning than others. Dietary indiscretion or eating something out of the ordinary may be a cause as well as certain bacterial, viral, or even parasitic infections among other causes. You may want to try withholding food from Addison for the next 12 hours (she can have water) and then slowly reintroduce food to her after that time to give her stomach a break. If you notice she is continuing to vomit or is continuing to be lethargic, I would be sure to have her seen by her veterinarian soon. I hope this helps and thanks again for posting!
