Why are all my dogs suddenly losing weight and have diarrhea?

Dog had stool sample that wasn't ideal tested. Mostly scarped off floor of vets office. It was liquid/ bloody.. That was a month ago. now all three of my dogs are losing weight and have diarrhea. They didn't eat anything weird. I took enough statistics courses to know that the odds of three dogs in same household all coming down with cancer within a week of each other is in the millions. 8 ,6 and a 2 yr old puppy of the two adults. These were otherwise healthy dogs last month. No diet change. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 8 years and 1 month old | 108 lbs

Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as colitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, among many other possibilities. I would be suspicious of intestinal worms or a food sensitivity given they are all affected at the same time. I recommend that you have them evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They may choose to check for parasites and to start medications for diarrhea depending on the results. Good luck! Hoping for a speedy recovery!
