Is it safe to trim my kitten's nails? When can they eat solid food?

Is it safe to cut paws of my 20 days old kitten and secondly when should start giving food to my kitten?

It is not safe to cut the paws, however you can carefully clip the tips of the nails when your kitten is about 12 weeks old. At this time it needs its claws to get a grip on the floor for learning how to walk properly. Your kitten will still need kitten milk from the bottle until she is about 6 weeks old. By the time she is 4-5 weeks old you can offer her small amounts of canned kitten food several times a day. She will be a messy eater, so will need to be cleaned after she tries to eat solid food.
