My puppy is vomiting worms after deworming. Is this an emergency?

Hello, I have 3 new puppies 7 or 8 weeks of age. Ive had them for 5 days now. About a week ago I was told they got wormed. 1 has noticeably wormy poop, and 2 are vomiting worms. Is this a side effect or should i rush them to the vet. They have high energy anx are eating and drinking normally. Please help.

Hi there. If the worms are alive and moving, this means that the puppies need another round of dewormer - it's not uncommon for pups to need more than one round to get rid of all the parasites they may have. If they're acting normal, there's no need to rush them to an emergency vet, but I would recommend getting a dewormer from your regular veterinarian (or taking them in for an exam, if needed) tomorrow morning.
